Sun Valley Machine & Parts, LLC dba Valley Auto Parts and Engines has been proudly serving the automotive community since 1979. We provide sales and service for Import and domestic cars, trucks, forklifts, commercial, and marine application engines and engine parts. We sell quality tested OE replacement parts. We are an engine Rebuilding Machine Shop and Auto Parts Store, we use the products we sell and proudly carry the products on our site.

All statements, descriptions, information, and recommendations in this catalog and in any of our electronic catalogs, including our website, are based on a rigorous informational quality control system. While Valley Auto Parts and Engines believes the information and data are correct, Valley Auto Parts and Engines does not warrant the accuracy of the information and data contained herein and specifically disclaims any and all liability arising from error, omissions, or consequential harm resulting there from.

Installer/Purchaser is responsible for final identification of all parts/products purchased. We will make every effort to assist you in purchasing the correct part for your vehicle.  We are just an email or telephone call away.

The installer is liable and holds the responsibility of assuring that the new part matches the old part before proceeding with the installation. No part will be warranted if used in high performance applications, racing applications, and industrial applications. Valley Auto Parts and Engines always recommends that the installer inspect the condition of all related components that pertain to the job, when replacing a part, in order to avoid failure of these components, in the future. Failure to do so may result in the failure of the new part installed, and voiding the warranty. Valley Auto Parts and Engines states: Manufacturer warranty is not transferable and is only valid to the original purchaser. We encourage you to contact us with photos, casting numbers, VIN #'s, and as much detail as possible before you make a purchase.


Valley Auto Parts and Engines ships domestic orders via UPS, FedEx or the US Postal Service.
Most items are offered at Free Ground shipping to the lower 48 states only. Alaska and Hawaii will be priced at the lowest prevailing rate.  For those Heavy Freight items, shipping cost is determined based on weight, size, destination location and speed of delivery.

If you are Local to Los Angeles, we have In Store Pick Up available.

Please allow 24 hours for your order to process. Anticipated Ship Out: Same day- 2 days within receiving cleared payment. Orders placed by Noon (Pacific Standard Time) may ship the same business day it is placed. Orders do not ship on weekends. Customer is responsible for ensuring that UPS and the U.S. Postal Service can deliver to a specific shipping address. Including a phone number and email address is best so we may contact you if any issues arise.

Shipping and Handling charges are billed on some orders. UPS adds a $1.75 fee charge for rural delivery.

INTERNATIONAL: International orders have different shipping rates, country fees and tariffs. We cannot ship to countries in which shipments are prohibited by the U.S. Government. Taxes or other import/duties fees are the responsibility of the Purchaser.  International/ Air Freight orders are Non-Refundable.  Most International order are shipped via USPS Priority or Express. We will confirm with you before items are shipped.  Timeframe quoted is for delivery to stated Country and does not include time for Customs Clearance or delivery by local courier.

Any and all claims for shortages must be made within 5 days of receipt of order.


Delivery time ranges from 1 to 7 business days, for Domestic shipments, depending on your delivery area. Rural addresses, add 1 to 2 days. International may be longer.
If you need an item ASAP, you must call us and we will attempt to accomodate you 818 767-6603. Overnight, 2/3 day shipping incurs the shipping fees.


Your order may be dropped shipped by our Manufactures with a warehouse closer to the destination.

Remanufactured parts usually have a core charge. The core charge is a deposit that the manufacturer charges us, and which we pass on to you, to encourage the return of old parts to be remanufactured. You pay the core charge when you place your order. If you return the old part to us, we refund the core charge. Postage must be Pre-paid. Manufactures require that cores be returned in original boxes. Cores must be rebuildable and not damaged, broken, disassembled or have missing pieces. All Returns must have an Exchange/Return Form included with the shipment, call or email for your RA#.

Cores must be complete, rebuildable, fit the same vehicle application and be returned in the box the remanufactured part came in. This means the part you send back needs to have whatever components (like pulleys) that came on the remanufactured part. The box helps identify the part and proves to the manufacturer that the core replaces one of their products. Obviously, the core won't be working well (or you wouldn't have replaced it) but it can't be smashed, rusted solid, or otherwise unusable. (We rarely reject a core. If the part came off a running vehicle and just wore out--no problem. But please don't send a part that's been soaking in junkyard mud for 5 years and expect to receive core credit!)

Shipping charges on cores is not refundable. (Before sending back a core, you'll need to decide if the core deposit is worth the shipping cost.) As with any return, before returning a core you must obtain a Return Authorization by telephone or via email.

To receive credit for cores, they must be returned within 14 days from the date your order was placed.


No returns on Electrical Parts, Special Orders (not in stock), Open Packages, or Tools.

Merchandise must be returned in resalable condition, Unused, Never installed, and in clean original packaging.
All returns must be whole and complete as shipped to the buyer.
All items damaged from improper shipping packaging will not be issued credit.

International and/or Air Freight orders are non-refundable.

Stocked Parts within 3 days with a receipt, Plus a 20% restocking fee. Manufacture warranties apply.


Only Original, New, Unused parts and defects will be accepted for refunds within 3 days of receipt. Certain special order parts may not be returned.
All new returns are subject to a 20% restock charge. Buyer must call for Return Authorization # (RA#) or you may email Engines@vapengines requesting an RA#.
Please include your order number, part number and reason for return.

All Returns must be Pre-paid. No Collect (C.O.D.) shipments will be accepted. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

If the return is based on a mistake that WE made, we will waive the 20% restock fee and reimburse the shipping charges.

Check that the parts are complete and in their original unmarked manufacturer part boxes (cores must be returned in the box the new part came in). Put the part boxes in a shipping box - returns sent in just the manufacturer's packaging may not be refundable if the original box is damaged in shipping. Please don't paint the part, install the part or throw away the box until you're sure the part you have is the part you need! Please do not write on or alter the box in any way. We cannot issue return credit for parts which have been installed, painted, modified or returned without their original packaging.

Shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is due to our mistake. If you refuse delivery or the carrier returns a package because you provided an invalid address, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Refunds typically take about 5 business days to be issued. Providing us with a return tracking number will ensure a faster refund. Refunds will be issued in the same form as you paid, (i.e. Credit card payments will receive credit to the same card used to place the order). You will receive email confirmation when the refund has been issued.


All manufactures warranties apply. Performance parts and parts used for racing are warranted against manufactures’ defects only. If you are returning electrical parts for warranty consideration, please call us before you ship an item. Various manufactures require the item shipped to them directly.
